About Bosco Ntakirutimana

With over 11 years of experience in Rwanda’s Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Bosco has built a distinguished career across some of the country’s most renowned properties and lodges. His journey began at The Manor Hotel in Kigali, where he worked as a Food & Beverage Supervisor from 2012 to 2015, overseeing operations in the Chinese, Indian, and Italian restaurants.

He later joined Ruzizi Tented Lodge and Karenge Bush Camp in Akagera National Park, where he rose to the role of Host Manager (2015–2021). In this position, he managed lodge operations, guest activities, catering, staff supervision, procurement, and environmental responsibilities. He also guided guests on game drives, ensuring memorable safari experiences in Rwanda’s northern savannah.

From 2021 to 2023, he served as Restaurant Manager at Villa Kigali – Thousand Hills at Rebero, where he managed daily lodge and restaurant operations, hosted guests, coordinated city tours, and implemented quality assurance policies. His leadership ensured high service standards and seamless guest experiences.

Since September 2023, he has been working as a freelance tour guide, collaborating with leading companies such as Nature Wild Africa, Alexander+Roberts Gate One Discovery, Primates Safaris, and Wolf-DMC Rwanda. In this role, he continues to share his deep knowledge of Rwanda’s cultural heritage, wildlife, and hospitality with international visitors.

Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Travel Management (2015) from the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies, and a Professional Certificate in Tourism (2009) from Gasogi Secondary School of Hotels and Tourism.
